Grace for the pharisees

It’s a really amazing thing to experience the grace of God in a way where we are able to simply look on Jesus and receive His promise. “My yoke is easy and my burden is light…”, He really meant that, and there is hardly a greater truth that will have such a heavy impact on our speech and conduct.

Let your words be seasoned with grace so that those who hear it are not confronted with your self-righteousness but rather the love and acceptance that is found in Jesus Christ in spite of our sinful state. When that is done, their self-righteousness will be revealed to them in due time by the Spirit of Jesus, the only One who can actually give relief from that terrible sin of the pharisees that lies in our flesh.
